One Night at Moka Efti

A Babylon Berlin Story

Welcome to 1930s Berlin

To coincide with the fifth and final season of the award-winning series Babylon Berlin, a narrative adventure game is being developed that immerses players in the dazzling and dangerous world of the Weimar Republic.

About the game

Babylon Berlin – The Game transports players to 1930s Berlin: a city poised between glamour and the abyss, between heady nights at the Moka Efti dance hall and the political upheavals of a republic on the brink of collapse.

The game is being developed by Paintbucket Games on behalf of SWR and is part of the ARD Games Network. Details regarding the game’s content and release date will be announced at a later stage.

Background

For Paintbucket Games, the Babylon Berlin project is the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream: during the development of Through the Darkest of Times eight years ago, Volker Kutscher’s Gereon Rath novels and the series based on them served as a model for how the era of the Weimar Republic could be made accessible to a wide audience in a way that was both gripping and authentic.
